Just about anyone trying to lose weight, including belly fat, knows that Trans Fat and Saturated Fat is unhealthy and a dieter's enemy. What about Monounsaturated and Polyunsaturated Fats, i.e., MUFAs and PUFAs, respectively?
This great little infographic entitled "Fat Facts" spotlights the four types of fats and includes pictures and a short description of the foods that they are contained in. As usual, the "good" and "not so bad" fats are found in vegetables, nuts, seeds and certain oils. The "bad" and "not so good" ("at all", I might add!) fats are found in animal and dairy products (meat, milk, cheese) and junk, fast and processed foods.
Don't get fooled by food labels that say "low-fat", "reduced-fat" or "fat-free" - these foods are not necessarily a healthier option and numerous studies have shown that these foods do not help with weight loss.
