Infographic: The Power of Pistachios

Omnivores, vegetarians and vegans all seem to worry incessantly about whether or not they get enough protein.  

The reality is that vegans and vegetarians are generally very well informed about protein, calcium, iron and other nutrient requirements and most will probably say that they get more than an adequate amount of protein in their plant-based diets.

This infographic entitled "The Power of Pistachios" illustrates how the protein content in 49 pistachio nuts compares to other popular snacks like popcorn, granola bars, rice cakes, graham crackers and tortilla chips.  It also contains some healthy snacking tips.
