Infographic: Quinoa

The many health benefits of quinoa, a grain like seed, have been known to the vegetarian and vegan community for some time now.  More recently, it is making headlines in mainstream media which is good news for the general public.  This infographic entitled "Quinoa" illustrates some important facts about its nutritional makeup, such as:

It is gluten-free
It is low in dietary cholesterol and sodium
It is high in magnesium
It is high in plant-based protein
It is low in fat and contains no saturated fat
