2013 Food Revolution Summit - Free Access

The stakes are high.  Millions of Americans are overweight or obese, sick and dying.  Incredibly, millions of others are taking an array of prescription and OTC medications and are at a dangerously high risk for preventable diseases like heart attack, stroke, diabetes and cancer.

What is going on that is making the majority of us so fat and so sick?

The short answer is that much of the food that is produced on today's modern factory farms, that is commercially prepared and sold on our supermarket shelves, on the menus in our neighborhood restaurants and convenience and fast food outlets is toxic and it is literally killing us!

Its not rocket science.  Just look around at your family members, friends and neighbors.  Take a listen to their complaints about their various chronic illnesses and health problems.  Take a note of all the pharmaceutical and fad diet ads on TV, in magazines, online and elsewhere.  Look up a few statistics and consider the following:
  • Many of our crops are now genetically engineered, are grown in nutrient depleted soil and sprayed with dangerous amounts of pesticides and herbicides
  • Billions of factory farmed animals are given massive doses of steroids, hormones, antibiotics and other drugs, are raised in filthy, crowded and bacteria-ridden conditions which is often the cause of cross-contamination of vegetables, fruits and other crops and a major contributor to pollution and destruction of the environment
  • To prolong shelf life, improve taste and appearance, most processed foods contain a scary cocktail of ingredients, preservatives, additives, coloring and chemicals - many of which are known to be toxic to humans, especially children
These are but a few of the problems with our food supply.  There are other many other issues as well.   Take, for example, deceptive consumer marketing and food labeling laws and practices.
