Best Way for a Vegan to Lose Belly Fat [Video]

The Best Way for a Vegan to Lose Belly Fat
Educational Video from Dr. Eric Berg
Although the general perception of vegans is that they are healthy and skinny (which bears out in certain scientific studies), there are some vegans who struggle with weight issues, particularly abdominal or belly fat.

This could be due to various reasons including genetics, age, hormones and, of course, lifestyle.  Some vegans are sedentary and do not exercise regularly.  Other vegans make poor vegan food choices.  Not all vegan food is healthy.  Plenty of processed and junk foods qualify as "vegan" but have the same deleterious health effects as non-vegan foods.

In this 8 minute video, Dr. Eric Berg explains what causes the accumulation of belly fat, the role that the hormone insulin plays in visceral fat, and which foods vegans should eat as well as avoid in order to stop gaining and storing belly fat or to begin losing it.
